The LX3 Evaluation Kit pairs the 3-Space™ LX3 with a plug-and-play USB evaluation board. Connect it to your computer, explore every sensor function through the free 3-Space™ Sensor Suite, and develop against the same open protocol, Python and C APIs you’ll use in production.
Evaluate the exact sensor you’ll ship
The sensor on this board is the same production 3-Space™ LX3 sold as an SMT module: fused orientation at up to 2000Hz with QGRAD3™ or Extended Kalman Filtering, ±1° dynamic accuracy, and true-north heading from an integrated World Magnetic Model, in a 16mm x 15mm, 0.9-gram package. Validate your application on the bench, then design the module into your board knowing exactly how it behaves. Nothing changes between evaluation and production.
Breakout pins for integration testing
Beyond USB, the board breaks out the LX3’s SPI, I2C, asynchronous serial, and USB lines, so you can wire it directly to your own host processor and test the interface you’ll actually use in your design.
Already have a sensor?
The evaluation board is available on its own and works with both the LX3 and the original 3-Space™ LX. If you’re running the original LX today, the same board lets you evaluate the LX3 side by side.
