Description
Everything the Link does. Twelve grams.
The Yost Labs 3-Space™ Data Logger Link Mini packs the complete Link capability stack — high-precision AHRS/IMU with auto-selecting dual accelerometers, onboard micro-SD storage, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity, and a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery — into a clip-in case measuring 27.0 × 39.7 × 12.7mm at 12 grams. Built for the deployments where the sensor must disappear: on-body capture, small subjects, confined spaces, and anywhere a full-size logger is the wrong shape.
GPS-denied pedestrian tracking, standard
Every Data Logger ships with our EEPTS™ pedestrian tracking engine built in. Developed through defense-funded R&D, EEPTS delivers real-time motion paths from body-worn devices and hand-carried equipment where GPS can’t reach: indoors, underground, in dense urban environments, and where GPS is jammed — no beacons, no external infrastructure. Our proprietary capability comes standard here.
Precision engineered for real-world conditions
Triaxial gyroscope, dual auto-selecting accelerometers (±2 to ±16g plus high-range to ±320g, standard), and magnetometer data fused through Yost Labs’ quaternion-based orientation filtering — proprietary QGRAD3™ or selectable Extended Kalman filtering, at update rates to 2000Hz. ±1° dynamic orientation accuracy, -40°C to +85°C operating range. Orientation is returned in absolute terms or relative to any reference orientation you designate, with heading referenced to true, magnetic, or grid north via the integrated World Magnetic Model.
Sized for the session
The integrated 200mAh lithium-polymer battery runs 3+ hours at full performance and 5.5+ hours at lower capture rates — full-session battery life for on-body capture, recharged over high-speed USB-C. Log to the onboard micro-SD, stream over BLE 5.4, or do both; real-time and logged data are both accessible wirelessly.
Clip in, swap fast
The Mini’s case carries integrated mounting rails with clip accessories available separately — fix a clip at each station or subject and move loggers between them in seconds. Mount the clip, not the logger.
Plug in and go
Connected via high-speed USB-C, the Link Mini enumerates as both a virtual COM port and a USB mass-storage device simultaneously: real-time data, configuration, and diagnostics on one side, logged files pulled like files from a drive on the other. No special software required.
Output in your application’s language
Raw sensor data, normalized data, or filtered absolute and relative orientation in quaternion, Euler angles (pitch/roll/yaw), rotation matrix, axis angle, and two-vector formats, plus GPS/EEPTS coordinate outputs
