Description
The Yost Labs 3-Space™ Sensor Suite for v3 Sensors (Suite v3) is made to help set up and configure 3-Space™ version 3.0+ sensors. The Suite v3 provides a graphical interface for interacting with the sensor, allowing users to:
- View the orientation estimate as a rotated 3D model of the sensor
- Log data from the sensor to a file on the PC
- Visualize the motion path of someone using the Extended Embedded Pedestrian Tracking System (EEPTS™) on compatible sensors
- Calibrate the sensors easily with our Gradient Descent Calibration Wizard
- Upload firmware
- See real-time data charts of the sensor outputs, including, but not limited to:
- Orientation estimates in multiple formats, such as Euler angles (XYZ, pitch/yaw/roll), quaternions (XYZW), two-vector, matrix, and axis-angle
- Linear acceleration estimates
- Temperature and air pressure on compatible sensors
- GPS coordinates on compatible sensors
- Component Data from the Accelerometer(s), Gyroscope(s), and Magnetometer(s)
- Raw Data (values as-is from the sensing components)
- Corrected Data (calibration matrix and bias applied)
- Normalized Data (calibration matrix applied, bias applied, and vector magnitude scaled to 1)
A user-friendly terminal is also included for convenience, and allows users to modify advanced settings and view debug information without having to use a separate terminal program.
